The Labino MB 3.0 Series - UV LED Hand-held UV Inspection Lamps.
The popular Labino MB 3.0 is available from us in different versions to best suit your application & needs (MB ZEUS, MB HERMES, MB SELENE, MB ATLAS & MB HERCULES EX). Used industry wide for multiple NDT tasks & available in differing wavelenghts & beam profiles to suit your application. Ideal for crack detection, dye penetrant testing, MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection) & for other non destructive testing applications requiring the use of UV lights.

A combination of smart mechanics and efficient electronics, the MB 3.0 Series was designed to survive extreme temperatures and harsh working conditions. Penetrant resistant and certified with an IP68 rating, this light, compact yet powerful lamp is ideal for use in heavy industries with difficult operating environments.

Depending on the model, the beam diameter is 8-9 inches / 20-22 cm with intensities that vary from ≈ 4,500 to 9,000 μW/cm2. Zeus and Selene models are additionally equipped with a strong white light for after inspection.

Selected models have been tested to comply with ASTM E3022-18, Rolls-Royce RRES 90061 and Airbus AITM6-1001.
MB 3.0 Overview
MB 3.0 Series products, Zeus, Hermes, Selene and Atlas are lamps with a powerful and wide UV-A output varying from 4,500 to 9,000 μW/cm2 & have been tested to comply with a number of NDT Standards.
The Zeus and Selene models offer an additional strong white light for after inspection whilst the Hermes & Atlas Models are UV only for organisations who do not permit white light use during inspection.

ALL MODELS ARE AVAILABLE IN EITHER MAINS or as BATTERY POWERED VERSIONS.
Model Variations & Output

MB 3.0 Zeus: 4,500 μW/cm2 with strong white light.
MB 3.0 Hermes: 4,500 μW/cm2 without white light.
MB 3.0 Selene: 9,000 μW/cm2 with strong white light.
MB 3.0 Atlas: 9,000 μW/cm2 without white light.
The MB 3.0 Series lights offer high quality UV-A LEDs, with white light block filters that do not suffer from solarisation whilst providing a large coverage in excess of 8-9 inches / 20-22 cm dependent on model, and weigh less than many comparable products.
The mains operated model weighs just 0.65 kg (1.4 lbs) and the battery-operated model weighs just 0.68 kg (1.5 lbs). They are widely used for field inspections or on an MPI bench.
All MB 3.0 Series models have an ingress protection certification of IP68.

Labino MB 3.0 - Zeus
UV + WHITE LIGHT MODEL
The Labino MB 3.0 Zeus has been tested to comply with ASTM E3022-18 and ISO 3059-12 standards as well as the Rolls-Royce Engineering Specification RRES 90061 and Airbus AITM6-1001 Test Method.
The MB 3.0 Zeus generates an intensity of approximately 4,500 μw/cm2 at 38 cm (15 inches) and is equipped with a white light LED for after inspection. This light is available in either Mains or Battery version, the running time of the battery version is 3.5 hours constant use (approx).
The beam size generated above 1,000 μw/cm2 is approximately 9 inches / 22 cm.

Difference between Zeus and Hermes Model?
The MB 3.0 Zeus is equipped with a strong white light LED that generates 1,076 lux (100 fc) for after inspection.
The Hermes does not have a white light LED for organisations that do not allow the use of white light.

Labino MB 3.0 - Hermes
UV LIGHT ONLY MODEL
The Labino MB 3.0 Hermes has been tested to comply with ASTM E3022-18 and ISO 3059-12 standards as well as the Rolls-Royce Engineering Specification RRES 90061 and Airbus AITM6-1001 Test Method.
The MB 3.0 Hermes generates an intensity of approximately 4,500 μw/cm2 at 38 cm (15 inches). This light is available in either Mains or Battery version, the running time of the battery version is 3.5 hours constant use (approx).

Labino MB 3.0 - Selene
UV + WHITE LIGHT MODEL

It generates an intensity of approximately 9,000 μw/cm2 at 38 cm (15 inches) and is equipped with a white light LED for after inspection. This light is available in either Mains or Battery version, the running time of the battery version is 2.5 hours (constant use).
It is IP68 and is penetrant resistant.
The beam size generated above 1,000 μw/cm2 is approximately 8 inches / 20 cm.

Labino MB 3.0 - HERCULES Ex
Designed upon request of the military, the Labino MB Hercules Ex is probably the most durable and shockproof UV light in the world today, suitable for any “heavy duty” environment.
​
Labino MB Hercules Ex is an extremely durable product specifically developed for use in areas where the risk of an explosion is high, or in which the working environment is more extreme.
The use of explosion proof products is often a requirement in Offshore Oil Rigs, Refineries, Aerospace, and Defense industries. It has successfully completed extremely tough tests, amongst them tests for thermal conditioning, Impact Tests, Drop Tests & IP tests that led to the ATEX certification (Certificate: ITS17ATEX402144X).
This unique product is suitable for use in extreme weather conditions varying from +40° Celsius (104° Fahrenheit) to -20° Celsius (-4° Fahrenheit).
This light is battery powered and has four UV LEDs that generate an
intensity of 4 000 µW/cm2 . A charger is supplied with each lamp enabling
users to charge the batteries without removing them from the lamp.
*Charging of batteries should only take place outside explosive atmospheres.
Hercules Ex has been tested to comply with ASTM E3022- 18, Rolls-Royce RRES 90061 and Airbus AITM6-1001. A certificate of conformity is provided with every light as well as a 2-year warranty.

EXPLOSIVE ATMOSPHERE CERTIFICATIONS:

ATEX certified for Group II, Zone II (Certificate: ITS17ATEX402144X), IECEx, NFPA 70 Article 500 for Class I (divisions II locations), Explosive Atmosphere Test as per MIL-STD-810G.
